Procedure Information

You will be placed in a comfortable and relaxed position and given dark glasses to protect your eyes. We will continually spray a protective coolant on the skin before each laser pulse. This is to allow the laser to penetrate harmlessly to the collagen-producing cells deep down in your skin.

The treatment takes just 10 to 20 minutes! It is unlikely you will need time to recover and you should be able to carry on with your day as normal. Individual results may vary, please consult your doctor to make sure that you are a good candidate for this procedure.

How Does CoolTouch Treat Acne?

Unlike other treatments that target only the bacterial causes, CoolTouch targets acne at its source. The laser penetrates to a level in the skin at which it may shrink oil glands. This reduces their ability to produce acne while still allowing for the production of healthy skin oils. Acne scarring may also be improved by the stimulation of your own natural collagen.
